Music Masters is currently offering limited in-person lessons in addition to online lessons. Please inquire if you are interested in taking in-person lessons.
"We loved our online lesson with Noela this week! Our 10 year old takes keyboard lessons. The video lesson was engaging, informative, and fun! Although we love the in person lessons, it seems like we get just as much out of the live video format. Super happy!"
- Jeanie Smith
Times like these can make us all scared and tense, but one important thing we must remember is to try to remain calm, and positive. Music can heal feelings of fear or anxiety, and is a great way to help you through this unprecedented situation.
Take care,
Music Masters Staff
Music Masters is a music lesson studio and retail music store in Eugene, Oregon. We teach lessons for kids and adults from beginners to experienced players. We have lessons for piano, guitar, voice/singing, ukulele, drums, violin, viola, cello, trumpet, trombone, tuba, baritone, clarinet, saxophone, flute, and harmonica serving the Eugene, Springfield, Creswell, and Cottage Grove area.
Our instructors each have an expansive musical background. They specialize in a huge variety of musical genres, from jazz to classical, musical theater to
bluegrass, pop to avante-garde, and more.
Our teaching philosophy is one that is hard to find anywhere else. It follows from a few assumptions:
First, that every person comes to a lesson with a unique life perspective and learning style.
Second, that all people are musical in one way or another. It’s a part of being human.
Lastly, that there is no one-track method to teaching or learning.
What does that mean for our teachers and students? It means that we teach according to how your child (or you!) learns. We put musical enjoyment before musical perfection. Music should be accessible to everyone in all walks of life. We strive to cultivate a student's independence in their musicality, instrument technique, listening skills, and musical taste.
Becoming a master of music means to be able to pick up your favorite instrument, and play the kind of music that makes you and your circle of friends and family happiest, whatever that may
be.
Let's make music!

Music Masters offers comprehensive music education for all ages (from kids to adults and elders) and skills levels at our South Eugene location. We provide top-quality music lessons and classes to our members from kids to adults. If you're looking for guitar lessons, piano lessons, violin lessons, or classes on almost any other instrument - you've come to the right place! We also rent and lease instruments including violins and violas in our music store.
Weekly lessons are tailor-made by our roster of musicians. Lessons and classes take place in one of the eight private studios that are fully funished for any instrument. We provide guitars, pianos, keyboards, bass guitars, ukuleles, drums, and amps for members to use. We suggest that students bring in their instrument if possible so that our instructor can make sure it is setup correctly. It's very important that your instrument is in good shape to make sure the instrument's condition isn't forming any bad playing habits.
Positive reinforcement is a major teaching point at Music Masters, and all of our students see musical growth and fulfillment. We have been awarded Eugene's Best Music School in 2014, 2015, and 2016 for our consistent and high quality music lessons and classes. We know that one of the most important factors in learning to love music is having a fun and supportive instructor who loves music themself which helps with shedding bad playing habits. So all Music Masters instructors are professional musicians with positive, upbeat attitudes whose lives revolve around music and want to help the world learn music.
Our instructors are always learning themselves! Our instructors take classes with each other to improve their musical repertoire and learn from each other on the best ways to teach and play. Every student learns differently so our instructors collaborate to help each other learn how to teach the wide variety of students they all have.
