Music Summer Camps for Kids and Teens in Eugene

We host week-long summer music camps for kids and teens in Eugene, Oregon that feature student rock bands and some of our most versatile and energetic teachers. During the week students will develop musical skills that can only come from playing in a group. Exposure to a variety of instruments and teachers will lead to a fun and fulfilling experience that culminates in weekly performances! These concerts include student favorites as well as rock classics and have included songs by Jimi Hendrix, Lorde, David Bowie, AC/DC, Phish, Taylor Swift, the White Stripes, Mumford and Sons, Grateful Dead, Twenty One Pilots, and many others.

Playing in a group is a fun way for your child to develop their musical and interpersonal skills and is part of a comprehensive education.

Some musical experience is required for attendance at our main summer camp. Experience can include, but is not limited to, one or more of the following: participation in a school band, private lessons, attendance at one of our past summer music camps, attendance at a music camp elsewhere. If you're unsure if your experience is enough, don't hesitate to ask us!

Our music summer camps for teens and kids run from 9am - 1pm Monday through Friday. Campers play and learn with their peers and perform for their family and friends at the end of each week! The final performances are recorded and uploaded to our YouTube channel.

There is some flexibility in the age ranges for each camp, if your camper is close to the age range of the camp they'd prefer to be in, that's okay. If you are unsure, please check with us at frontdesk@musicmastersstudio.com.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do we need to bring lunch?

Every student needs to bring their own water bottle and lunch each day. With parent permission, campers can get lunch at Lox Stocks and Bagels, or Safeway.

Do students need to have experience with their instrument?

Students need to have at least some musical experience. We can help get your student up to speed with private lessons ahead of time!

What ages of students can participate in camps?

Our camps have separate sessions, one for ~9-13 year olds and the other for ~13-16 year olds. Exceptions can be made for siblings and more mature younger students. What's most important is some basic musical experience and a mature attitude.

What if we can't make it to camp every day?

Ideally, all campers would make it to every single day of camp as that makes everyone's experience, and the final performance much better. There will be no partial refunds for days missed.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made 14 or fewer days before the first day of camp are not eligible for a refund. Cancellations made greater than 14 days, but fewer than 30 days before camp start are eligible for a partial refund of half (50%) of full week camp tuition if full tuition has been paid.
