Jazz Club

The Jazz Club class is intended for ages ~13-18 with some prior musical experience. Prior knowledge of music theory is not necessary.

Jazz Club focuses on small jazz combos creating music as an ensemble through a mixture of listening, written music, and general music theory.

Combos will work on a few classic jazz songs over one month and develop skills that focus on expressive communication of the music through performance and improvisation.

The class will culminate in a final performance. All instruments are welcome.

Class Duration: Each class is 2 hours long. There are 4 weeks of classes.

The class will run on Sundays March 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, 2024 from 1:00pm-3:00pm.

Location: The classes will take place at our studio in South Eugene 380 E 40th Ave. Eugene, OR 97405

Class costs:

$149 per student for all four weeks
