Adult Group Ukulele Class

This adult group ukulele class is intended for beginner adults of all ages to get their feet wet with music, and the ukulele is the perfect vehicle.

It is easy to fit in your hands, simple to strum, and has a beautiful tone. Many who wish to play guitar start off with the ukulele because the chord shapes, sound, and technique learned are very similar.

With just 3-4 chords, you will be playing classic tunes in no time at all!

The beginning group ukulele class will cover the fundamentals of the instrument, including types of ukulele, tuning, playing chords, single notes, and strumming.

Students will learn how to read chord diagrams, tablature, and the skills needed to play/learn songs from lead sheets. General music concepts will also be introduced and presented, such as the rudiments of rhythm and musical notes on the instrument. Using these skills, we will play chords, melodies, and songs together as part of the learning experience!

Individuals/duets/trios will also be given the option to perform during the last class, if they choose. No pressure though!

Class Duration: Each class is 1 hour long. There are four weeks of classes per session.

The classes will be on Mondays from 11:30am to 12:30pm.

January 5th - 26th, 2026

February 2nd - 23rd, 2026

March 2nd - 23rd, 2026

April 6th - 27th, 2026

May 4th - 25th, 2026

Location: The classes will take place at our studio in South Eugene. 380 E 40th Ave. Eugene, OR 97405

Class costs:

$99 per student for all four weeks
