How’d you end up at Music Masters?
A former MM teacher recommended me to the job. I love teaching private lessons and was excited to come on board.
What sparked your passion for music?
Playing in a marching band in High School, and having classmates who were very good and playing their instruments.
How’d your music go from there?
I decided that I wanted to pursue a career that involved me playing my instrument as well as teaching so I got both my Bachelors and Masters in music.
Who would you most wanna jam with?
Maybe a little corny but my dream ensemble to play in is the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
What do you express through your music?
I want people to feel things when I play, in either a solo or ensemble setting. Being able to share feelings and experiences through sound and music is an amazing thing.
Your message to aspiring artists?
Don't worry about being right or wrong. You are solely in charge of your artistic path and allow yourself to experience as many things as you can, but don't let it be the box you put yourself in.
